Randy Nance

Randy Nance has worked in the IT industry since 2013. Randy began their career as a Rapid Response Engineer at CSP, Inc. in 2013, providing remote technical support over the phone, email, and various remote access tools. In 2014, they became a Platform Administrator at CA Technologies, performing systems maintenance, migrations, and top-level technical support for SaaS network monitoring products used by Verizon Business customers. That same year, they also began working as an IT consultant for individuals and small businesses under their own business, Computer Services by Randy Nance. In 2015, they became an Electrician at Davco Electric Inc., installing wiring for new and existing residential and commercial construction projects and diagnosing and resolving issues with existing electrical systems. In 2022, they began working as a Junior Software Engineer at MotiveMetrics.

Randy Nance has a background in education and certifications. Randy attended Virginia Tech from 2010 to 2012, studying Computer Science. In 2022, they enrolled in BloomTech to study Data Science. That same year, they obtained certifications from Cloud Academy in AWS Cloud Development Kit (AWS CDK) v2, AWS Developer Services for CI/CD, Data Science & Machine Learning, Monitoring and Observing your Resources with Amazon CloudWatch, and a General Coding Assessment from CodeSignal.
