Samuel Starr

Sam is motivated by finding data oriented solutions to problems. He believes that most problems can be solved if you have the right data set. He loves carefully sorting through data, separating signal from noise.

At Motivf, Sam is a member of the GIS field team (better known within the company as a “Road Warrior). He spends his days traveling from site to site to gather mapping data for others to interpret. Most recently he has been working on recording GIS data for the National Guard Bureau and the United States Army Reserve.

Before joining Motivf, Sam worked in retail and customer service management, giving him experience working with and for a wide range of people.

Sam got his Bachelors of Science in Geology from the University of Wyoming, a small state university in the mountain west. When circumstances permit, he deeply enjoys painting miniatures and listening to audiobooks at his home in New Mexico. He can be easily found on LinkedIn.
