Dean Banks

Dean Banks is a seasoned technology and engineering professional with extensive experience in product development and leadership roles. Currently serving as Assistant to the Regional Manager at Sabbatical, take two, since July 2024, Dean has also co-founded MOTIVO Engineering, a firm dedicated to the rapid development of complex products across various industries. Previously, roles include Chief Technology Officer at Banks & Baugher, Chief Operating Officer at MOTIVO Engineering, and SVP Technology at Connexity, Inc., where Dean managed the technical infrastructure and product roadmap following its acquisition by Shopzilla. Dean's career began with roles at Rod Millen Special Vehicles and APS Systems, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Automotive from UC Santa Barbara.
