William MacDonald

William MacDonald has extensive experience in product management and technology leadership, currently serving as Senior Director of Product Management at Motorola Solutions since June 2024. Prior to this role, MacDonald was the Founder and held multiple leadership positions, including Chief Technology Officer and General Manager USA at StarLeaf from October 2010 to June 2024. MacDonald also worked as a Solutions Architect at TANDBERG, and was a key figure in the founding and management of Codian, which was acquired by TANDBERG in 2007. Additional roles include Product Manager at Cisco and Founder/General Manager North America at Calista Ltd, which was acquired by Cisco in 1999. MacDonald's career began as a Sales Engineer at Madge Networks, which went public on Nasdaq in 1993. MacDonald earned an MSc in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
