Anastasios Balaskas

Anastasios Balaskas is a seasoned software developer and lead engineer with extensive experience in full-stack development, particularly in C# MVC web applications, alongside supporting legacy systems. Current work at Motorpoint includes leading engineering efforts since August 2021, following a tenure at Derbyshire County Council where Anastasios contributed to the design and development of web applications from May 2016 to October 2021. Previous experience includes self-employment focusing on mobile application development for both iOS and Android, alongside roles at Positive ID Labelling and N.P.C. (Security Printing), where Anastasios led teams and managed various software development and production processes. Anastasios holds a Master’s Degree in Digital Forensics & Computer Security and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Networks & Security, both from the University of Derby, complemented by qualifications in web design and graphic design.
