Julie Fynke

Undergraduate Research Assistant at Mott Children's Health Center

Julie Fynke is a graduate research assistant at the Center for Managing Chronic Disease since October 2016, focusing on literature reviews and study development related to chronic pain management in older adults. Concurrently, Julie serves as an undergraduate research assistant at Mott Children's Health Center, analyzing data for the Crystal Ball Pilot Study on premature babies. Previous experience includes working with veterans at the VA Ann Arbor Healthcare System to evaluate the effects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy on PTSD, and contributing to cost assessment and database modernization at Employee Health Insurance Management. Julie has also maintained REDCap databases at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy for schizophrenia research. Academically, Julie holds a Master’s Degree in Health Behavior and Health Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience, both from the University of Michigan.
