Matt Behrns

Matt Behrns has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Matt currently holds the position of VP & GM, Clean Energy and Marketing at Mott Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Global Products & NA Region at nVent from July 2021 to November 2022. Matt also held the roles of Senior Director, Product Management and Director Global Product Management at nVent from October 2019 to July 2021 and from June 2017 to October 2019, respectively. Before joining nVent, they worked at Pentair as Director of Global Marketing from August 2015 to May 2017 and as a Marketing Manager from January 2013 to July 2015. Matt also gained experience at Emerson, where they held positions such as Global Product Line Management for Pressure and Marketing Engineer - Americas Sales and Marketing. Matt started their career as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Restore Medical and an Engineering Intern at Innovative Laser Technologies Inc. Matt also worked as a Research Assistant in the Physics Department at the University of St. Thomas.

From 2008 to 2012, Matt Behrns attended the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business, where they obtained a Masters degree in Business. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they studied at the University of St. Thomas and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, as well as a B.A. in Physics.
