Bob Fryatt has extensive work experience in the field of public health and health systems. Bob currently holds the position of Lead, International Health at Mott MacDonald. Previously, they worked at Abt Associates as the Director of the USAID Local Health System Sustainability Project and the Director of the USAID Health Financing and Governance Project. Bob also worked independently as a Public Health and Health Systems Specialist, where they were involved in various projects, such as advising on the Syria Program for DFID and leading the strategic review of MEASURE Evaluation for South Africa. Bob Fryatt has also held positions at the Department for International Development, Ministry of Health South Africa, World Health Organization, London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene, and NHS UK, where they served as a Policy Adviser, Senior Health Adviser, Head of Health Sector Group, and Public Health Physician, among other roles.

Bob Fryatt has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) degree from University College and Westminster Medical School, University of London, obtained between 1977 and 1982. Bob also holds a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, a Masters in Public Health Medicine, and a Medical Doctorate in the Economic Evaluation of TB in Nepal, all from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London. In 2004 and 2005, Bob obtained an Executive Education degree in Consulting and Change from Hult Ashridge. Bob is also a fellow of the Faculty of Public Health and a member of the Royal College of Physicians.
