Dave Ward

Dave Ward has extensive work experience spanning over several decades. Dave started their career as a Junior Engineer at Beca Carter Hollings & Ferner in 1982, where they worked until 1985. In 1986, they joined Babbage Consultants Limited as an Electrical Engineer and stayed with them until 1990. Dave then worked as a Technical Manager at Targetti Lighting in 1991 and later joined Staff Lighting NZ as a Technical Manager from 1992 to 1993. Dave then worked as a Controls Engineer at Allen-Bradley from 1993 to 1994. In 1995, they joined Nortel Networks as a Facilities Engineer until 1998. Since 1999, they have worked at Mott MacDonald, initially as an Associate until 2021 and currently as a Project Principal / Director. In 1999, they also worked as an Associate at Fulcrum Consulting until 2010. Dave's vast experience spans various roles and responsibilities across different companies.

Dave Ward attended Lineker Street School in Southport, Merseyside, England from 1968 to 1976. Dave then attended Edgewater College in Auckland, NZ from 1976 to 1980, where they completed their O Levels and A Levels. Following that, they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Auckland University of Technology from 1981 to 1985, earning a degree in NZCE.
