Karen Welsh

Karen Welsh is an experienced engineering professional with a robust background in project management within the water industry. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer seconded to United Utilities from Mott MacDonald since March 2008, Karen has held various roles including Senior Associate Civil Engineer and Associate, focusing on multidisciplinary projects in both water and wastewater sectors. With significant experience at Northumbrian Water Ltd as a Project Delivery Manager and Team Leader, as well as earlier roles as Design Lead and Principal Engineer, Karen has successfully managed projects that emphasize infrastructure development and sustainable drainage systems. Karen holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Engineering Science from Durham University.
