Sayan Shom

Sayan Shom has significant experience in project management and business development, currently serving as the Technical Excellence Lead for South Asia at Mott MacDonald since March 2011. Sayan has held various roles within the company, including Senior Project Manager, Lead Project Manager, Project Manager, and Consultant, focusing on market research, technical assessment, and report writing for pre-investment analysis. Prior to this, Sayan was a Project Coordinator for Business Development at Astrowix India Project Solutions Pvt. Ltd. from May 2007 to February 2009, where business development was targeted at corporate clients and achieving monthly targets. Sayan's career began as a Project Engineer at Jessy Jacob Associates from May 2006 to April 2007. Educational qualifications include an MBA with a focus on Marketing and Systems from IBS Kolkata (2009-2011) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (2001-2005), alongside an ISC (Science) from Calcutta Boys' School (1993-2001).
