Lindsey Rael

Lindsey Rael, CPA, has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. Lindsey is currently the VP of Internal Audit at Flowserve Corporation since January 2023. Previously, they held various roles at Flowserve, including Sr Director of Internal Audit and Director of Internal Audit, where they successfully built and managed a team of over 25 members responsible for SOX controls, internal and operational audits, system implementations, and special projects.

Before joining Flowserve, Lindsey worked at bp as a Group Control Manager and Manager of Projects & Continuous Improvement, where they developed a cost reporting system and led continuous improvement initiatives resulting in increased efficiency. Lindsey also served as a Finance Optimization Analyst, assisting with external reporting, HR financial reporting, and payroll analysis.

Lindsey began their career at United Airlines, where they held the position of Sr Manager of Internal Audit - Regulatory and Compliance. Lindsey managed audit teams, conducted special project reviews, and ensured compliance with corporate and regulatory standards. Prior to that, they worked at Continental Airlines as a Staff and Senior Auditor, gaining experience in various types of audits and drafting reports for senior management.

Lindsey started their professional journey at Deloitte, working as an Auditor for two years.

Lindsey Rael, CPA obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 2005. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University in 2005 as well. Lindsey Rael obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in July 2007.
