Stephen Armstrong has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Stephen began their career in 1995 at Mott MacDonald Ltd, where they held several positions including Process Engineering Lead, Senior Project Manager, and Lead Engineering Design/Project Manager. In 2012, they worked on the Nacala Coal project as the Senior Process Engineering, Controls & Automation, and Business Planning Lead.
In 2014, Stephen joined MML - EDF Energy as the Technical Lead, Design & Delivery Project Manager. Stephen then moved to MML - Carbon Capture in 2012, where they served as the Due Diligence, Project Manager, and Technical Lead.
Prior to that, Stephen worked at Tata Steel as a Senior Project Engineer, focusing on Direct Reduction of Iron Waste Recovery and Strip Mill Line projects. Stephen also gained experience at MML - Veolia Water and MML - Scottish Water as a Project Manager in various areas of engineering.
Stephen has experience in the pharmaceutical industry, having worked at Sanofi as a Project Engineer and at the Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service as a Validation Project Manager. Stephen also worked at AstraZeneca, where they were involved in Clinical Trial, Laboratory Primary & Secondary Facility Design, Regulatory, and Validation roles.
Earlier in their career, Stephen was Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager at Shepherd Construction Ltd, specializing in Process, Facility, and Validation projects.
Stephen Armstrong attended Aston University from 1972 to 1979, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical - Electrical Engineering.
