Paul Brenton

Paul Brenton is a highly experienced Coastal Engineer currently serving as Technical Principal at Mott MacDonald since October 2025. Prior to this role, Paul held various positions at Buro Happold from February 2013 to October 2025, including Operations Director for Cities UK, Discipline Director for Cities Project Leadership, Technical Director, and Associate Director for Coastal & Maritime. Paul's career began at Halcrow, where roles included Coastal Engineer and Team Leader from March 2009 to January 2013, and Senior Coastal Engineer from September 2000 to September 2007. Additionally, Paul worked as an Associate at Buro Happold between October 2007 and March 2009. Paul holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering from Cardiff University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Engineering Management from the University of Bath.
