Bayu Kurniawan has extensive experience in marketing and product planning in the automotive industry. Bayu is currently serving as the Head of Marketing Communications at MOTUL since March 2021. Prior to that, Bayu held various roles at Nissan Motor Corporation, starting from 2005. Bayu'sroles at Nissan included General Manager of Product Marketing, General Manager, Senior Manager, Manager, and Assistant Manager of Product Planning & Market Intelligence. In these positions, Bayu was responsible for developing product strategies, coordinating product life cycle events, designing pricing strategies, monitoring product competitiveness, leading research activities, identifying customer needs and industry trends, administering competition intelligence, and contributing to business strategy development. Bayu also participated in cross-functional teams for CSR and social media projects.
Bayu Kurniawan completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Indonesia from 2000 to 2005. Later, from 2013 to 2014, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Administration and Management, General from The University of Salford.
