Ron Goldberg has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Ron is currently the President of Idea Pavement, a boutique services agency specializing in information products and intellectual property for the technology and healthcare sectors. Their role involves providing leadership and working with clients ranging from startups to global leaders in B2B and B2C technologies and services.
Prior to this, Goldberg was the Founder of Walkify, a digital health PaaS company focused on safer aging in place and advanced mobility assistance. Ron integrated machine learning analytics and cellular personal safety services into smart walking aids designed to reduce falls and assist seniors and veterans.
Goldberg also worked at Silicon Labs as the Principal MarComm Adjunct, IoT/Smart Home, where they served as the principal content strategist and channel development associate for the Z-Wave smart home business unit. Ron played a significant role in international initiatives for B2B and B2C markets and assisted the chair of the 700-member Z-Wave Alliance global trade consortium.
Before that, Goldberg was the President of Convey Technologies, Inc., a boutique consultancy and development agency specializing in information solutions for the consumer electronics industries. Ron worked with clients such as Sony, Canon, and Amazon, providing services in content strategy, usability design, customer support tools, and channel development.
Goldberg's experience extends back to their role as the Co-Founder and VP Content Services at etown.com, the web's first broad-scale portal for consumer electronics e-commerce, content, and community. With venture funding led by Best Buy and Ziff-Davis, etown.com became an award-winning platform and the official CE partner to Yahoo and Ask.
Additionally, Goldberg served as the National Media Spokesperson for the Consumer Technology Association, where they represented the U.S. trade association overseeing the international consumer electronics industries.
