Ewan Shannon

Ewan Shannon has extensive work experience in the IT and project management field. Ewan started their career as an IT Technical Manager in the Municipality of King William's Town, where they deployed billing and finance systems and provided technical support for prepaid metering systems. Ewan then worked as an IT Manager in the Municipality of Bisho before becoming a Member Owner at Merls Computer Systems, where they developed IT solutions for local government and businesses. Later on, Ewan worked as a Technical Manager at HKC Systems, supporting a software company in the building industry. Ewan then joined Exel, which is now DHL, as an IT Manager, where they were responsible for implementing systems across multiple African countries. At DHL Supply Chain, Ewan served as an IT Lead for Infrastructure and Service Management in Africa and EEMEA, leading the adoption of governance programs and improving service availability. Ewan also worked at Williams Lea as a Global Program Manager, overseeing large change programs and international bids. Currently, Ewan is employed at Motus Aftermarket Parts as a CIO and Project Executive. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated their ability to balance risk and project governance with innovation, as well as their proficiency in using frameworks such as Prince2 and Agile.
