Yaniv Ofir

Yaniv Ofir has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over 30 years. Yaniv is currently working as the Director of Engineering at Motus GI Holdings, Inc. since September 2019. Prior to this, they served as the COO at Bendit Technologies from August 2017 to September 2019.

Yaniv has also worked at EndoChoice as an Engineering Manager and Project Manager from June 2014 to July 2017 and November 2011 to June 2014, respectively. During their time at EndoChoice, they managed a team of 8 engineers and was responsible for various engineering activities such as transferring to production, design and development, tooling and processes, sustaining activities, and process improvements.

Before EndoChoice, Yaniv worked at NeatStitch Ltd. as an Engineering Director and Mechanical Design Engineer from July 2009 to July 2012 and March 2009 to July 2009, respectively. At NeatStitch, they were responsible for advancing the product design, improving user experience, reliability, and cost. Yaniv also developed production tools and processes, including the establishment of an assembly line in Turkey.

Yaniv gained experience in mechanical design engineering at Stryker from 2008 to 2009, where they were involved in designing and transferring disposable parts of flexible endoscopes, managing injection molds design creation, and prototyping an autoclavable Pneumatic Bottle Head for an Endoscope.

Yaniv started their career at Taamal Mizra as the Engineering Department Manager, overseeing a team of engineers and draftsmen, providing unique solutions to customer needs from April 2003 to May 2008.

Yaniv also worked as a Mechanical Design Engineer at M.G.H. from June 1996 to March 2003 and as an Overseas Installations Supervisor at M.G.H. from 1991 to 1996. Additionally, they have experience as an Installation Supervisor at Meyhen International Corp from March 1989 to August 1990.

Yaniv Ofir obtained a BSc degree in mechanical engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology from 1992 to 1996. Yaniv also holds various certifications in photography from LinkedIn, including "Exploring Composition in Photography," "Foundations of Photography: Exposure," "Foundations of Photography: Lenses," "Getting Started in Photography," "Introduction to Photography," "Introduction to Photography: Lightroom and Photoshop," "Photography 101," "The Elements of Effective Photographs," and "Up and Running with Lighting: Natural Light," all obtained in 2016.
