Gretchen Holzhauser

Gretchen Holzhauser has extensive experience in the casino industry, with a focus on human resources and operational excellence. Gretchen most recently served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Mount Airy Casino Resort since September 2022. Prior to that, they held the same position at Scarlet Pearl Casino Resort from March 2021 until August 2022. Before working at Scarlet Pearl, Gretchen was an Operational Excellence Leader at the same company from March 2017 to March 2021. Gretchen also worked for Caesars Entertainment Corporation, where they held various roles including Operational Excellence Director, Operational Excellence Manager, and Continuous Improvement Site Specialist from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Gretchen has previous experience with Horseshoe Casino and Harrah's New Orleans in continuous improvement and leadership roles.

Gretchen Holzhauser completed their education at Southeastern Louisiana University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Studies. Their major concentration was in Behavioral Sciences, with minor concentrations in Business and Humanities. Gretchen also obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from the same university. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Project Management at LSU Shreveport, which is still in progress.
