Alastair Ross

Alastair Ross is an experienced professional in the mining industry, currently serving as Mining Manager at Mount Gibson Iron since June 2017, previously holding the role of Production Superintendent. Prior to this, Alastair was Mining Manager at Mineral Resources Limited for one year and served as Senior Production Supervisor/Superintendent at Downer from July 2015 to June 2016. Alastair also has extensive experience with Mount Gibson Iron, where responsibilities included Mining Superintendent from July 2011 to July 2015. Earlier in the career, Alastair worked with BGC Contracting as Production Supervisor/Superintendent and as Production Excavator Operator from May 2006 to July 2011, and at Barrick Gold Corporation from June 2001 to May 2006 as an All Round Operator handling various machinery, including excavators, dozers, loaders, graders, and dump trucks. Alastair holds an unrestricted Quarry Manager certification.
