Katarina Dedes

Katarina Dedes is a dedicated veterinary technician with extensive experience in both zoo and shelter environments. Currently serving at Popcorn Park Animal Sanctuary and Zoo, responsibilities include providing medical care to zoo animals, administering treatments, and assisting with surgical procedures. Previous roles encompass veterinary technician positions in shelters and internships focused on exotic animal medicine and surgery, alongside work as a peer tutor and research assistant in veterinary studies. Katarina is pursuing a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at North Carolina State University, having previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Pre-Veterinary Studies from the University of Delaware.
