Omar al Awar

Omar Al Awar, MD, currently serves as an Assistant Professor at the University of Balamand and occupies multiple positions as a Consultant in Brain & Spine Surgery at MOUNT LEBANON HOSPITAL, Ain Wazein Medical Village, Trad Hospital, and BMG Hospital. Omar began a clinical fellowship in skull base and neurovascular surgery, followed by a fellowship in neuro-oncological surgery at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Previous experience includes a Senior House Officer role in neurosurgery at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and a neurosurgery residency at Vilniaus universitetas / Vilnius University. Educational qualifications include a Fellowship in Surgical Neuro-oncology from the University of Oxford and degrees in Medicine from Vilniaus universitetas and Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.
