Janice Hamscher

Janice Hamscher currently serves as a Hospital Nurse Consultant for Joint Commission Resources since November 2023. Previously, Janice held various leadership roles in nursing, including Chief Nursing Officer at Altru Health System from February 2017 to December 2022, and Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Penn Highlands Dubois from 2012 to November 2016. Earlier experience includes Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer at Saint Vincent Health System from 2005 to 2011, Vice President of Patient Services at Holy Spirit Hospital from 2001 to 2005, and Assistant Vice President at Fairmont General Hospital from 1994 to 2001. Janice holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Chamberlain University, a Master of Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University, and a Master's Degree in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania.
