Leanne Birmingham-Beddow

Leanne Birmingham-Beddow is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, marketing, and education. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Celtic Colours International Festival since May 2022, Leanne also holds the position of Partner at Studio 11, which specializes in strategic marketing and public relations services. As a part-time faculty member in Communication Studies at Mount Saint Vincent University, Leanne teaches various courses including Advanced PR Writing and Strategic Writing. Previous leadership as Chair of the Alexa McDonough Institute for Women, Gender & Social Justice further underscores a commitment to equity and social justice. Notable past roles include Director of Communications & Marketing for the IWK Health Centre Foundation and event management for The Ceilidh Cup. Leanne holds a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and an MBA in Community Economic Development from Cape Breton University.
