Michael Fordham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michael started their career as an Account Executive at Colonial Life Insurance Company in 2005. Michael then worked as an Agent at New York Life Insurance Company before becoming an Independent Agent at Aflac. In 1992, they became a Contract Supervisor at Randstad / Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC), where they oversaw contracting and managed a data analysis group. In 2007, they joined XM Satellite Radio as an Associate Producer and Contributor. Michael also worked as a Research Associate at Consumers Checkbook Magazine and as a Freelance Photographer at Fordham Images. Before that, they were the Host/Executive Producer of two radio shows on BlogTalkRadio.com. Their most recent role was as the Former Media Director at Mount Zion Baptist Church, where they provided leadership and operational stewardship for the transition to remote broadcasting.
Michael Fordham attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting from 1986 to 1988, where they studied Radio and Television Production. In 2008, they enrolled in the Radio Connection Broadcasting School for a brief period. In addition to their education, Michael also obtained certifications in Lean Process and Six Sigma Course and Project Management Course from IAOTS in August 2017.
