Shay Baker, LCSW, LISW-CP, LCAS, CCS-I, BSN-RN, has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Currently, Shay is employed at Mountain Park Health Center as a Behavioral Health Consultant, starting in January 2023. Prior to this, Shay worked at Encompass Health as a Nurse Supervisor from November 2022 to April 2023. Additionally, Shay has experience as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice at MInd, Body, & Soul Behavioral Health & Wellness, LLC, starting in July 2011 and continuing until April 2023.

Shay Baker, LCSW, LISW-CP, LCAS, CCS-I, BSN-RN has an extensive education history in various fields. They began their academic journey at North Carolina State University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Psychology from 1997 to 2005.

In 2008, Baker enrolled in The University of Texas at Arlington and obtained a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree specializing in Social Work from 2008 to 2010.

After several years in the social work field, Baker pursued further education in the field of nursing. They attended Joyce University from 2020 to 2022, completing a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing Science. Following this, they enrolled at Herzing University from 2022 to 2023, earning a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Nursing Education.

Continuing their education, Baker went on to pursue a second Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree from Walden University specializing in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse/Nursing Practitioner from 2023 to 2024.

Throughout their education journey, Baker has acquired multiple professional certifications, including LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LISW-CP (Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice), LCAS (Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist), CCS-I (Certified Clinical Supervisor-Intern), and BSN-RN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing-Registered Nurse).
