Linda Hambrick is an experienced educator specializing in biology and environmental science, currently teaching at Los Altos High School since August 2020. Previously, Linda taught at South San Francisco High School from December 2014 to June 2020, where Linda was nominated for the California League of Schools Educator of the Year and served as team leader in the biology department. Linda has held several research fellowships at Stanford University, including work in the Virtual Human Interaction Lab, the Pringle Genetics Lab, and the Paleobiology Lab, focusing on topics such as ocean acidification and cell division. Linda's teaching career extends back to 1996, with experience at various institutions, including the American School of The Hague and Amsterdam International Community School. Linda holds a Master's of Natural Science in Science Education and a Secondary Education Teaching Credential in Biology from San Jose State University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Principia College.
