Mountain View High School
Marcey Winawer is a seasoned educator with extensive experience in teaching math and computer science. Currently serving at Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District since August 2010, Marcey also participates in the Instructional Support Team and holds a position with the California Department of Education's Instructional Quality Commission since January 2022. Previous teaching experience includes a tenure as an instructor at De Anza College from September 1992 to June 2002. Marcey earned a Master's degree in Education from Stanford University (2009-2010) and holds a Certificate in Object Oriented Programming from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1997-2000), along with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Brandeis University (1981-1985).

Serving the communities of Mountain View, Los Altos, and Los Altos Hills, the MVLA district is comprised of two comprehensive high schools, an alternative high school, an adult education center, the Freestyle Academy for Arts & Technology, and Middle College.
