Laura Malaise, MSN, RN, NE-BC has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laura is currently serving as the Chief Nursing Officer at Mountain View Hospital in Payson, UT since May 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as the Assistant Chief Nursing Officer at St. Mark's Hospital from December 2020 to May 2022.

Laura also held multiple roles at West Valley Medical Center, including Director of Medical/Surgical, Pediatrics, and Ortho/Spine from July 2017 to December 2020, Nursing Supervisor from May 2015 to July 2017, and Registered Nurse, BSN from May 2012 to July 2017. Laura started their career at West Valley Medical Center as a Certified Nurse Assistant from September 2007 to May 2012, working in various departments as a member of the Float Pool.

In addition to their hospital experience, Laura worked as a Clinical Adjunct Faculty at Northwest Nazarene University from July 2016 to December 2016, teaching nursing students. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing at Northwest Nazarene University from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, Laura achieved their high school diploma from Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School in 2007.

In terms of certifications, Laura holds the Nurse Executive-Board Certified credential from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, which they obtained in August 2018. Laura became a Registered Nurse licensed by the Idaho Board of Nursing in September 2012. Moreover, they acquired the Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider certification from the American Heart Association in April 2007.
