Jonathan Beltran

Jonathan Beltran has a diverse work experience in the field of video production and marketing. Jonathan is currently the Principal Owner and Founder of Bright Raven Creative, where they lead a small team and is personally involved in all projects as a Producer, Director, Editor, and occasional cat wrangler/whisperer. During the COVID-19 Pandemic, their company has provided consultation on virtual and remote workflows.

Prior to that, Jonathan worked as the Director of Photography and Lead Editor at Fresh AV, where they collaborated with a dispersed team on projects for various clients including Go Daddy, Start-Up Grind, NVCA, Nextdoor, and Ladies Who Launch. Jonathan also played a crucial role in producing high-quality projects, adapting to new technologies and workflows during the pandemic.

Jonathan's experience also includes working with Mountain View Staging Services as a Technical Director, DP, and Editor, where they contributed to corporate broadcasts and event production for companies such as Oracle, Salesforce, Facebook, and Instagram. Additionally, they served as a Technical Director, DP, Post-Production Supervisor, and Editor at Repertoire Productions.

Before entering the video production industry, Jonathan worked as a Coach at Scoot Networks, a company offering shared electric scooters in San Francisco. Jonathan also held the position of Director of Media at Madrone Studios, an event production company and creative agency specializing in emerging interactive and immersive technologies.

Jonathan started their career as a Video Producer and Social Media Manager at Drum Channel, where they produced live streamed concerts, interviews, videos, and social media content for the award-winning instructional website. Jonathan also gained experience at Trailer Park as a Production Coordinator, Assistant Editor, and Camera Operator, and at Collective Media Productions as an Editor and Camera Operator.

Jonathan Beltran's education history includes attending Ventura College from 2006 to 2008, where they studied Political Science and Film. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Pacifica High School from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has obtained several certifications related to online video content strategy, web video for business, corporate event video production, creating a buzz, cryptocurrency foundations, learning video live streaming, live video streaming skills, producing a video crew, shooting with Blackmagic Cinema Cameras, and video strategies for high engagement. These certifications were obtained from LinkedIn in various months and years, including February and December 2021.
