Janna Hembrough

Janna Hembrough, CPXP has had a progressive career in patient experience and relations, with a strong focus on healthcare. Their most recent role was as the Director of Patient Experience at Mountainside Medical Center, where they currently work. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Patient Experience and Relations at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center from April 2019 to September 2020. Janna's experience also includes a long tenure at Hackensack University Medical Center, where they served as the Manager of the Office of Patient Experience for over 17 years. Janna began their career as a Victim Advocate at the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, demonstrating their commitment to helping others even outside of the healthcare field.

Janna Hembrough, CPXP, completed their undergraduate education at The College of New Jersey from 1994 to 1998, majoring in Criminal Justice and Corrections. Janna later pursued a Master's degree in Forensic Psychology at John Jay College (CUNY). In April 2021, Janna obtained the certification of Certified Patient Experience Professional from the Patient Experience Institute.
