Giancarlo Pereira

Giancarlo Pereira has over 20 years of experience in information technology roles. Giancarlo began their career as an Infrastructure IT Specialist and IT Manager at Mountainside Treatment Center from 2001 to 2007. From 2008 to 2009, they worked at Nestle as an Infrastructure IT Specialist and a Project Executer Specialist, where they were involved in planning site consolidation and executing integration projects. From 2009 to 2011, Giancarlo worked as an IBM System Administrator at Telefonica and as a System Administrator at Dow Chemical, focusing on improving IT services and trouble prevention. Giancarlo then joined IBM Global Services, where they served as an Infrastructure IT Specialist - System Administrator from 2009 to 2011, working with DOW Chemical to enhance IT security and reliability. In 2011, Giancarlo joined Levi Strauss & Co. as a System Engineer and then progressed to the role of Business Engagement Manager. Giancarlo was responsible for driving global initiatives and supporting infrastructure networks and servers. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at TMF Group as an L3 Support Engineer and managed infrastructure projects, continuously improving network and server resources. Currently, Giancarlo is the Director of Information Technology at Mountainside, where they oversee the organization's IT infrastructure and projects, manages the IT department's annual budget, and develops new IT strategies.

Giancarlo Pereira's education history includes several degrees and certifications. In 2002 to 2004, they attended CUNY Bronx Community College and obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering Tech with a focus on Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2005 to 2007, they studied at The City College of New York, majoring in Computer Science and Engineering. In 2006 to 2007, Giancarlo attended the New York Institute of Technology, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services. Moving forward, from 2015 to 2017, they pursued a Bachelor of Technology degree in Business Administration and Management at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. Finally, in 2018 to 2019, Giancarlo attended Centro Universitário FAM, where they completed an Associate of Science degree in Computer Systems Analysis. Furthermore, they have obtained various certifications such as "C# Essential Training" and "Microsoft Azure: Core Functionalities" from LinkedIn, "MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional" from Microsoft, and "ITIL V3" from EXIN, among others.
