Marcel Merten has a diverse work experience in various companies. Marcel started their career in 1998 as an Ausbildung zum Industriekaufmann at Thermo Fisher Scientific Germany. Marcel then worked in different roles within the company, including Produktionsplaner, Spezialist Logistik im SCM, and Leiter Interne Logistik und Konfektionierung. In 2012, Marcel joined Berliner Glas KGaA Herbert Kubatz GmbH & Co. as Leiter Materialplanung und Logistik. Marcel later moved on to Mikron Berlin GmbH, where they served as Head of Operations from 2015 to 2017. Marcel then worked as Geschäftsführer/Managing Director at PTL Prüfstandstechnik Leipzig GmbH from 2017 to 2018. Currently, they hold the position of COO at Mounting Systems GmbH, and also serves as Geschäftsführer/Managing Director since June 2019.
Marcel Merten completed their education from 2006 to 2010 at the FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management. During this time, they earned a degree in Diplom-Kaufmann (FH) with a focus on Controlling und Logistik.
