Rebecca Vania has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 1997, they worked as an Assistant Buyer for Gemstones Finished Goods at HSN, managing multiple vendor accounts and overseeing inspections of incoming merchandise. In 1997, they also joined Clyde Duneier as an Account Executive, managing accounts worth over $12M and representing the company at national trade shows. From 2002 to 2004, they worked at J.A.M. Creations as a Merchandiser and Product Development Specialist, sourcing suppliers, organizing shows, and building partnerships. Rebecca then moved to David Yurman in various roles, including Director of Purchasing, Sr. Manager of Product Development, Sr. Manager of Product Engineering and Process Improvement, and Sr. Manager of Global Sourcing. Rebecca'sresponsibilities included purchasing, product development, process improvement, and sourcing. Most recently, since 2013, they have been the Director of Product Development Project Management at Movado Group, Inc.
Rebecca Vania earned an Associate's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from Newbury College in 1994. Prior to that, they studied Fashion Merchandising at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from 1991 to 1992. Rebecca is currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on General Business, at Rutgers Business School.
