Sylvie Arm

Sylvie Arm has extensive work experience in human resources, spanning various roles and industries. Sylvie is currently serving as the Vice President of Human Resources Europe & LATAM at Movado Group, Inc, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Vice President of Human Resources EMEA at the same company from July 2018 to September 2023. Before joining Movado Group, Inc, Sylvie worked at Swiss Re, where they held the positions of HR Director in both the Organisation & People Development Consulting and Senior HR BP Reinsurance EMEA divisions from November 2014 to February 2018 and from April 2012 to October 2014, respectively. Sylvie also gained valuable experience as the Managing Director and Global Head of HR for Wealth Management & Trust at Rothschild from April 2008 to September 2011, as well as the Head of HR for EMEA Central Functions at Reuters SA from February 2005 to March 2008. Earlier in their career, they worked as the Director of HR & OD, EMEA at Stryker SA from July 2000 to July 2004, as the Executive VP of Human Resources at CSEM from August 1998 to June 2000, and as a Human Resources Generalist at the World Economic Forum from May 1996 to July 1998.

Sylvie Arm obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Organizational Psychology from Université de Neuchâtel in 1995. In 1996, they pursued continuing education at Institut de formation et d'application de l'Approche Centrée sur la Personne (IFAACP), focusing on thematic workshops, listening skills, and encounter groups. In 2011, Sylvie attended a leadership program at IMD, and in 2017, they completed the Digital & Technology Transformation Program at IMD. Sylvie further enhanced their knowledge in digital and technology transformation by attending the program again in 2017 and 2018.
