Joe Shumate

Joe Shumate has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Joe is currently the Director of Analytics at Movano Inc. since April 2019. Prior to this role, Joe worked at JLL from July 2015 to April 2019, where they held the position of Data Analysis and Strategy. In 2015, Joe founded their own consulting company called Shumate Solutions LLC, where they provided analytical expertise to financial companies and data-driven organizations. Before that, Joe held various positions at HSBC, including Head of Collections for Americas from 2013 to 2014, HBME Head of PFS Risk from 2009 to 2013, and SVP Default Services from 2008 to 2009. Joe also worked at HFC Bank, UK / HSBC as the Head of Credit & Analytics from 2005 to 2008, and at Household Credit Card Services / HSBC as the Director of Risk Management from 2000 to 2005, and as a Senior Manager in Risk Management from 1997 to 2000.

Joe Shumate completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics/Statistics from Morehead State University between 1988 and 1992. Joe then pursued further education and obtained a Master's Degree in Statistics from Miami University between 1993 and 1995.
