David Beneteau

David Beneteau serves as General Counsel at Movati Athletic since 2014, providing comprehensive legal support across various business units for a prominent fitness-health club chain in Ontario and Alberta. Prior to this role, David was General Counsel and Project Manager at Bennett Construction Group from 2007 to 2014, advising on construction-related legal matters while managing significant capital upgrades to water infrastructure in the Greater Toronto Area. David's legal career began as a sole practitioner from 2002 to 2007, where professional legal advice was offered in criminal and quasi-criminal matters. David also competed as a professional mixed martial artist from 1995 to 2000, participating in notable events including UFC tournaments, and provided emergency medical services as a paramedic with Windsor Ambulance from 1990 to 1999. David's educational background includes an LL.M. in Business and an LL.B. from York University - Osgoode Hall Law School, alongside studies in kinesiology and general studies from Simon Fraser University and the University of Windsor.
