Daniyar Serikov

Daniyar Serikov is an experienced investment analyst currently working at Movchan's Group since July 2021, following a brief tenure as an analyst at NIIKS in April 2021. Previously, Daniyar served as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company from September 2019 to December 2020, where assistance was provided to leading companies in Kazakhstan and the Middle East in the investment and banking sectors. Additionally, experience as an investment strategist was gained at Allianz, focusing on private debt fund investments, and an earlier internship in audit at KPMG provided foundational skills in financial analysis. Internships at the Senate of the Republic of Kazakhstan and JSC Samruk Energy involved corporate governance and expertise projects. Daniyar holds an MSc in Economics, Finance from The University of Freiburg and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Nazarbayev University, along with preparatory studies in economics and international relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and UCL.
