Dan Hultquist

Dan Hultquist has a diverse work experience in the mortgage industry. Dan started their career as a Loan Officer at HomeBanc Mortgage in 2003. After that, they worked as a Housing Counselor at CredAbility, where they obtained NFCC certification and provided financial counseling to homeowners in default on their mortgage. In 2009, they joined Generation Mortgage Co. as the Director of Training, responsible for managing and developing training programs for internal employees and external partners. During their time at Generation Mortgage Co., they also conducted daily webinars and live training sessions through GMCUniversity.

In 2014, Hultquist took on the role of Branch Manager and Training Manager at Open Mortgage, LLC. Dan then moved to ReverseVision in 2016, where they served as the Director of Learning & Development. In 2018, Hultquist became the Vice President of Education and Organizational Development at Live Well Financial. Dan joined Finance of America Reverse LLC in 2019 as the VP of Organizational Development. During their time at Finance of America Reverse LLC, they held training sessions and educational programs.

Hultquist's next role was at Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation, where they served as the National Reverse Sales Training Specialist from 2021 to 2023. Currently, they are working at Movement Mortgage as the Director of Reverse Mortgage Communications.

In addition to their roles within various mortgage companies, Hultquist has also authored a book titled "Understanding Reverse" in 2014.

Dan Hultquist has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Kennesaw State University, completed from 1996 to 2001. Dan also holds a Bachelor's degree in Labor and Industrial Relations from Penn State University, earned from 1987 to 1991. Additionally, they are a Certified Reverse Mortgage Professional, received from NRMLA in December 2010. Dan is also registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry with ID#203029.
