Giel Absil is a dedicated professional with a Bachelor's degree in International Business from Avans University of Applied Sciences and extensive experience in program coordination, sales and marketing, and hospitality management. Currently serving as a Coordinator at Movement On The Ground, Giel successfully manages programs for over 140 residents in reception centers while spearheading organizational improvements. Previous roles include an internship at Movement On The Ground in Greece, where Giel contributed to educational initiatives for refugees, and an Assistant Manager position at Strandpaviljoen Hoëg, where various responsibilities were undertaken, including team leadership and operations management. Additional experience encompasses volunteer work with the Salvation Army, roles in sales and marketing, and contributions to environmental and agricultural projects, demonstrating a strong commitment to community service and organizational development.
