Damon Byrd II

Damon Byrd II currently serves as Hornets Hoop Coach for the Charlotte Hornets and Lead Teacher at Movement School, where responsibilities include coaching a championship-contending basketball team and providing training direction for athletes. Previous roles include coaching at the Jr 76ers Basketball Camp and various positions in behavioral therapy at Action Behavior Centers, where Damon contributed to talent acquisition and relationship building with recruitment sources. Damon’s early career featured roles as a Radio Personality at 930 The Answer and as an Administrative Assistant at MacMurray College, showcasing a diverse skill set in both coaching and administrative support. Education includes completion of a course at IAP Career College in December 2022.
