Roland Parker

Associate Creative Director at Movement Strategy

Roland Parker started their work experience in 2011 as a Cartoonist and Graphic Designer for The Daily Reveille. In 2012, they worked as a Graphic Designer for Legacy Magazine. In 2013, they served as a Creative Intern at Young & Rubicam and later became the Creative Director at LSU Academic Programs Abroad. In 2014, they worked as a Graphic Designer at Impression Works and a UX Designer at Pixel Dash Studios. Roland also worked as a Freelance Designer and Illustrator from 2012 to 2015. In 2014, they worked as a Freelance Designer and Art Director at Red Six Media. Roland then joined Marina Maher Communications in 2015 as a Jr. Art Director and later became an Art Director. Since 2018, they have been working at Movement Strategy, starting as an Art Director, then being promoted to Senior Art Director, and currently serving as an Associate Creative Director.

Roland Parker has a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Design from Louisiana State University, which they completed between 2010 and 2014. Additionally, they pursued dual minors in History and Art History during their time at this university. In 2012, Roland attended the Yale University Summer Session, where they focused on Web and Interactive Media Intensive courses. Furthermore, in 2010, they participated in a Summer Drawing Marathon at the New York Studio School.
