Imani Albert

Imani Albert began their career in 2014 as a Communications Intern for the Smithsonian's National Zoo and Conservation Biology Institute. Following this, they held the roles of Marketing Assistant and Communications Specialist at Synergy Enterprises, Inc. In 2015, they joined FleishmanHillard as a Social Media Manager + Strategist and Social Media Manager (Alfred Fleishman Diversity Fellow). In 2017, they moved to VMLY&R as a Senior Connections Manager (Social). In 2020, they became an imPART Fellow at The ADVERTISING Club of New York. Most recently, in 2021, they joined 360i as an Associate Director, Social Marketing & Strategy and Senior Social Strategist. In 2022, they began their current role as Associate Strategy Director at Movers+Shakers.

Imani Albert attended Virginia Tech from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a B.S. in Psychology. Imani then attended the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2014 to 2015, where they earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Relations. Imani also obtained a Problem Solving certification from McKinsey & Company in April 2022.
