Lorraine Dorrow, SHRM-SCP has over 10 years of experience in Human Resources. Lorraine began their career in 2007 as the Human Resources Manager at Grooming Lounge, a men's luxury grooming products and apparel company with three brick and mortar locations. In this role, they managed Human Resources and Operations, oversaw PnL, and had three direct reports. Lorraine also handled compensation, benefits, onboarding, performance management, and organizational development.
In 2010, they took on a part-time, interim role as a Business Operations Analyst at Ellen Tracy. Lorraine then moved on to become the Human Resources Manager at Addison Search.
In 2011, they joined Equinox as a Human Resources employee. Equinox is a luxury lifestyle fitness company that has 10,000 employees and 100+ locations under the Equinox, Soul Cycle, Blink, REQX (Related and Equinox Investment Firm) and PURE Yoga brands throughout the U.S., London, Vancouver, and Toronto.
In 2014, they became a Human Resources Advisor at ICONYC, a company that provides operations and human resources consulting to lifestyle brands.
In 2016, they joined Time Inc. as a Human Resources consultant and was asked to join full time as they prepared to be acquired. They were subsequently bought by Meredith Corp. Her notable achievement was overhauling onboarding practices for both US and UK to streamline the new hire experience.
Also in 2016, they became the Head of People at Fatherly, a VC-backed company. Lorraine joined the company at 17 employees and grew it to over 65. Fatherly is the fastest-growing parenting site on the web, targeting millennials and young Gen Xers.
In 2018, they moved to Starcity as the Director of People. In this role, they managed Culture, Talent Planning, L&D, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting and Performance Reviews.
In 2020, they became the VP of People at Copper and Movers+Shakers. At Movers+Shakers, they were part of a creative agency that connects brands to culture. Over the past two years, they have grown from 0-100+ employees and are Ad Age's #1 Fastest-growing agency and Agency of the Year. They are also proud to be one of Fast Company's "Most Innovative Companies of 2021".

Lorraine Dorrow obtained a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan between 1998 and 2002. Prior to that, they attended Winston Churchill HS from 1994 to 1998. In 2018, they became a Myers Briggs Certified Trainer with The Myers-Briggs Company. In 2017, they obtained their SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM.
