Rhian Dark has over a decade of experience in the digital media and marketing industry. Rhian began their career in 2009 as a Marketing & Social Media Executive at apt marketing & pr, followed by a role as a Fashion & Social Media Assistant at Vogue. In 2010, they took on the role of Social Media and Digital Marketing Coordinator at Boohoo Group PLC. Rhian then moved on to become a Senior Social Media Executive at New Look Fashion in 2013 and a Social Media Manager at Office Shoes in 2014. In 2016, they were a Social Media Strategist and then in 2017, they took on the role of Head of Social Media (EMEA) at AwesomenessTV. In 2018, they became Co-Founder & CMO of SimplyxSocial, a successful boutique social media consultancy. Finally, in 2020, they began their current role as Global Senior Social Media and Content Strategist at OLIVER Agency, and in 2022, they will become Content Strategy Director at Movers+Shakers.
Rhian Dark has a diverse educational background. Rhian attended Ribston Hall High School for Girls from 1999 to 2006. Rhian then went on to pursue a BA (Hons) 2:1 in Marketing and Communications from Nottingham Trent University from 2006 to 2009. In addition, they have obtained a variety of certifications, including Phishing & Online Security (CPD Certified) from iAM Learning in February 2022, Work Place Diversity, Sensitivity & Inclusion from Traliant in June 2021, Curalate Certified from Curalate in April 2017, and Online Copywriting.
