Ignazio Aleo

Ignazio Aleo is the CEO & Founder of Moveshelf, a company focused on integrating movement analysis technology, wearables, and AI with clinical workflows to accelerate the healthcare of musculoskeletal and movement disorders. Prior to Moveshelf, Ignazio was a Lead System Engineer at Xsens Technologies BV (Fairchild Semiconductor) from June 2014 to September 2017. Ignazio was also an Application Engineer II at STMicroelectronics from November 2011 to June 2014, where they worked on embedded systems development, wearable sensor networks design, and human-machine interaction.

Ignazio Aleo received a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Università di Catania in 2006. Ignazio then pursued further education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering in 2008. Following this, Ignazio Aleo continued their academic journey and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering at Università di Catania from 2008 to 2011.
