Andrés Jiménez de Parga

Andrés Jiménez de Parga is an experienced attorney specializing in litigation, human rights, criminal, civil, and commercial law. Currently serving as an Abogado Protección Internacional at Movimiento por la Paz since March 2019, and as an Attorney at Law in own practice since 2018, Andrés also holds a long-term role as Letrado at Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona since January 1991. In addition, Andrés is President of ONG La Lumière d´Afrique since February 2018, focusing on social entrepreneurship. Andrés has an extensive academic background, having taught commercial law and bankruptcy law at the University of Barcelona and Universitat Pompeu Fabra from 1993 to 2013 and 2010, respectively. Andrés earned an LLM in Law from Harvard Law School (1990-1991) and a Licenciatura in Law from Universitat de Barcelona (1985-1989).
