Marcin Kowalik

Marcin Kowalik has more than 14 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Marcin is currently employed as a Senior Software Engineer at movingimage since March 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Lead Java Developer and then as a Senior Java Software Engineer at BEC Poland from July 2020 to March 2021. Marcin also served as a Senior Java Software Engineer at Kreditech from November 2017 to July 2020. Marcin held the position of Tech Lead/Team Lead at Excelian | Luxoft Financial Services from April 2017 to October 2017. Before that, they worked as a Senior Java Developer/Lead Developer at KMD from December 2016 to March 2017. Marcin also gained experience as a Java Tech Lead at GFT from October 2015 to November 2016, and as a Java Technical Lead at Rule Financial (Part of the GFT Group) from April 2014 to July 2015. Marcin started their career as a Senior Software Engineer at Allegro Group in June 2013 and later worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Cognifide Ekino from December 2012 to May 2013. Marcin began their professional journey as a JavaEE consultant at 7N in February 2007 and continued in that role until May 2013.

Marcin Kowalik obtained their Engineer's degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Warsaw University of Technology, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. Marcin later pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Telecommunications Engineering at the same university from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Marcin also obtained the certification of Certified Spring Professional from SpringSource in November 2013.
