Luca Forni

Luca Forni has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Luca started their career as an intern at Neptuny in November 2004 and worked as a Consultant there from September 2005 to June 2009. During this time, they were involved in performance tuning, testing, diagnostics, and Application Performance Management projects, primarily in financial customers like Generali and Unicredit.

In July 2009, Luca joined Moviri, where they held various positions. Luca started as an Account Manager and Senior Performance Consultant and worked until December 2014. In January 2015, they became the Head of Performance Engineering, leading the "Performance Engineering - Digital Optimization & Performance & IT Operations Management" Business Unit. Luca was responsible for technical consulting offering development, sales and business plans, R&D team leadership, innovation and tech scouting, partnership and alliance management, and people management.

In 2018, Luca co-founded Akamas, an autonomous performance optimization software powered by AI. Luca initially served as the COO and co-founder before assuming the role of CEO and co-founder in February 2021.

Luca Forni's education history begins with their completion of a Master's degree in Information Technology Engineering from Politecnico di Milano. Luca attended this institution from 2000 to 2005. Prior to that, from 1995 to 1999, they attended Liceo Scientifico G. Galilei, where they focused on Maths and IT.

In addition to their education, Luca Forni has obtained certifications in the field of sales. In November 2016, they received a Sales Certification for Moog partners from Moogsoft. In May 2013, they obtained a Splunk Certified Sales Representative certification from Splunk.
