Alice Munyua

Alice Munyua is a distinguished leader and innovator in the fields of technology and policy, serving as the Founder of the African Women AI Network since January 2025. Currently, Alice holds the position of Senior Director at Mozilla, where previous roles included Director for the Africa Mradi initiative and Policy Advisor. As the Founder of KICTANet since July 2003, Alice has been instrumental in promoting ICT policies in Kenya. Additionally, Alice has contributed to various organizations, including serving as an Advisory Board Member for Global Partners Digital and as a Board Member for Mwabu. Notable past roles also include membership on the Board of Trustees for the Internet Society and participation in ICANN's Governmental Advisory Committee. Alice's educational background includes executive education from Harvard Business School and a Master's degree specializing in social communications from Pontifical Gregorian University.
